Dorfhotel Moar am Latemar is located in Eggen / Deutschnofen in the Eggental valley in South Tyrol, in the heart of the Dolomites between the Latemar and Rosengarten massifs.
Eggen is a quiet mountain village at around 1,250 m elevation, nestled between forests, alpine meadows and the UNESCO-listed peaks of the Dolomites. A perfect base for summer and winter holidays: hiking, climbing, mountain biking, skiing, cross-country skiing and sledding start right at the hotel door.
The Obereggen ski area is part of Dolomiti Superski, one of the world's largest ski networks. In summer, marked trails around the Latemar and Rosengarten lead straight from the valley into the high mountains.
